Many methods and tools have been developed over the last decades to support industry in the development of more sustainable products and services. Covering different phases of the product development process, and sustainability aspects, the developed methods and tools can be used to support a set of different activities: from screening of candidate solutions, to conceptualization and product evaluation. Nevertheless, their uptake by industry is surprisingly low. The purpose of this workshop was to discuss and come up with working groups to find answers to:

How to enhance the implementation and dissemination of the Sustainable Design tools?

The workshop lead to three working groups within the SIG that continued the discussion and work. Results from these working groups are both publications and workshop activities with different target groups.
